Where Faith Meets Work—Gently.

The Great Commission at Work is a free, voluntary space for business owners, leaders, and seekers who want to explore how Scripture might shape the way they lead, serve, and make decisions—without pressure or pretense.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19

We are a free service dedicated to businesses that want the Word of God to become part of their mission. Founded by a former business consultant with over 30 years of experience, our work is rooted in one hard truth: in all those years and in thousands of companies, the Bible was rarely a priority. That needs to change—and it starts with honesty.

If you’re ready to acknowledge that gap and commit to a new standard, we may be a match.

Let us be clear: we are not for profit. We’re not building pulpits or private jets. Jesus walked this earth for just over 30 years—how many mansions did He own? He had what He needed, and so do we. Teaching the Gospel should never be a financial transaction. We profit by learning the Word, and we learn more the more time we spend in it.

We lead Bible studies focused on the workplace and the world—open, honest, and guided by the Holy Spirit. We’re not preachers. There’s no judgment. We simply create space for meaningful discussion and learning among your team. Jesus Christ is our focus. Always.

We don’t tailor Scripture to fit the world. We accept the Word as it is, and we offer this truth: Salvation is a free gift. To accept it, we must first acknowledge our sin, seek forgiveness, repent, and walk in a new direction—with regular check-ins to stay on that path.

If you're curious, open, or even just considering, step inside.

The New Covenant - The Old Covenant

What is the difference?

The following eight weeks will be group discussions focused on the meaning of/reasons for the New Covenant. Does it mean we no longer need to adhere to the Law? God forbid. Wanting to, and having to are two different things, and will be discussed. We are not rewarded for our works no matter how good they look!

How does free will play into this discussion? What does it mean for our faith to mean so much and to be so strong that our works are no longer works? There is a difference between desire and feeling required to “check the boxes”.

Why does God, not only allow, but promote free will? Why not force us all to act the right way all of the time? Why do bad things happen?

Who/what is our enemy and do we believe he exists?

Application in today’s world

How does all of this apply to us?

One of the religious leaders of the time, a pharisee named Nicodemus, was one of the few that had his eyes opened so that he could see. Jesus said to him “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again”. Nicodemus’, “Israel’s teacher” response was “How can this be?” John 3:1-9

How can it be? What does it mean to be born again? Can you be catholic, or protestant and be born again at the same time?

Jesus voluntarily gave His life so that we could have one. We have to do the same thing.

Our final number of weeks will be discussing the importance of being spiritually dead to ourselves and born again. Then, and only then, can we apply what we’ve learned in “the world”.
